Okay heres the trick for this. Instead of buying the so called kit from ebay. All the box does is retard the timing by cheating the ECU into thinking that your engine is sucking *cold air*. It reads the air temp tru a small sensor thats hooked up b4 the MAF. All you have to do is go to Radio shack, go ask for a 1 ohm resistor. Thing should cost 99 cents for 5. Bend the prongs, stick it on the intake temp sensor and *viola* saved yourself money. Doesnt do much performance wish but idles alot better specially for higher mileage KAs. Email me at [email protected] if you got Q's. I got other lil cheap tricks to squeeze a lil more power out of your engine:D

Say goodbye to any gas mileage you once had though. :)

i want to get some more power out of my 93 Ka 24de without spending alot. does that resistor on the AIT sensor work?, is it bad for the car? whatelse could i do? I have the main fan removed and the a/c fan hooked up as key on. i have one of those tornado air twisters in the intake in front of the trottle body. i had a custom ram air setup with the stock air box and a k&n, but im going to make a better intake(super cool ram air). obx muffler.i raced the same car but he had a short ram intake, headers, short shifter and a high flow cat and muffler and i won, i smoked him. doesnt seem right does it? but its true.got any other power adders?

lol dude..

Did you used to drive a civic? If you want to get more power out of the KA then spend some money, save up. It'll be alot more worth it than doing some lame *** tricks and radio shack electronics shortcuts.

My guess is the other car wasn't even racing you. Hurrah for you.

Don't hate.

But he has a point.

No one goes fast on crap parts and tricks for long.
