Nissan 240RS rally car

I own a nissan 240RS rally car,can anybody tell me which gearbox was used in the240RS, as iam having trouble getting the plastic screw drive on the gearbox end of the speedo cableRegards JimPS are there any other 240RS owners out there

WELCOME TO NICO JIM! cool car you have there, please post up some pics! I tried to help but my google searches are turning up fruitless, I know nissan uses the same auto transmission in a lot of it's cars, I don't know if it's the same case with the 5/6spds.

240RS? As in a subaru 2.5RS motor into a 240sx?

wow, we get another S110 on here and it has to be the END ALL of s110's.

fj24e rally car... I'll try and figure out which transmission you're using...

HOW did you come up with one? there are so few in actual existence, noone on here has one that's for sure. I can show you a couple thingsthat you might find cool.

Thanks for all the good leads ,there is a guy in Japan who is helping me get a part numberSorry no photos at the moment the car is on the ramp trying to sort out the gearbox, as the car is going to the Goodwood Festival Of Speed next week, there is a photo of the car on Ebay on Nissan 240RS mine is the UB40 Sponsered carJim
