Nissan 180sx w/ SR20det idle/timing adjust problems

I have a high idle issue with my car where it idles at 1200 normally and 1500 when cold but wont adjust. I also cant set my timing because when i unplug my tps the idle bumps up to 1500 - 2000 RPM with the iac adjustment screw closed all the way. i have checked the car for vacuum leaks/intake leaks and none can be found. any ideas?

same problem man. i cant get any help on this issue either. my iacv doesnt do anything doesnt raise the idle or lower. but did u make sure your tps is set a .45vdc

hey i fixed my idle problem maby this is urs too. i took off my idle air conrtol valve cleaned and noticed that the coolant lines to the selenoid were never hooked up so my engine was always in the "warming up stage" with the screw all the way in i got my idle down to 850
