Nissan 100K Extended warranty

Does anyone know a good place to find information on what is covered and what voids the Nissan 100K extended warranty. I wanted to install an amp and sub. but I don't want to run the risk of voiding my warranty. I can't find to much info... I found one site but it seems a bit confusing. Anyways, thanks you guys. Hopefully this post will help others as the Nissan Guru's reply.. Thanks again

really it depends on your dealer, almost everything not done at the dealer will void your warranty, but I've never seen anyone say "oh your motor is fried because of your headunit" installing a radio and sub should be safe if done properly, not much can go wrong there.

a new stereo might void the electrical system.

wheels and tires could void the suspension and driveline

an intake can void the engine

an air freshener will void everything else...

and the sad part is, despite the Magnason-Moss Act, it is all up to the attitude of the dealer. If they will get reimbursed for the time, then they will cover it, if they don't, then you are poop out of luck.

your best bet is to ask the dealer,technically they should explain to you exactly what is covered and what isnt.It now a law here in Ontario,the dealer must include a written report of the warranty coverage an what could possibly void it
