Anyone here have the nismo wheels, or has looked at them?

What do you guys think of them in bronze on a redline z?

Worth the price? (can't figure out if they want $650/wheel, being $2600 total, or $650 for fronts and $650 for rears, being $1300 total)

I think its probably 650 each because as far as wheels go it usually is.

The price is per wheel, there are many other options out there for that kind of money, or if you really want that wheel check out ebay, etc for some slightly used at a huge discount.

Forged wheels are worth the extra coin, but you don't have to pay full retail to get them .

Thanks Fly and Rex!

I figured they were per wheel, as $1300 for wheels, not to mention with a nismo sticker, is cheap cheap cheap!

Found a set on ebay for $490 each in an eBay Store. With the $20 each shipping he wants it only puts him a few hundred cheaper than going to a stealership. Granted, these are brand new. Search turned up no results for used ones.

Here's the 18" 350Z Rays

Here's the 18F/19R 350Z Rays

And the 19" G35 Rays

The middle set have the most aggressive size/offsets (18x9+30 19x10+30), and thus would have the best fit/look. They're harder to find for sale, and require a more expensive 19" rear tire, but they do look nice .

I like the top, hate the middle, and LOVE the bottom.

I was looking at g35's as well, and every time I see those wheels I drool. But I couldn't rock an infiniti logo on my Z lol. That'd be like rocking an Acura logo in japan!

I don't know why, but I seriously dislike staggered diameter rims, they just look funny. Staggered widths/offsets is a whole 'nother story!

The middle set doesn't look to have a very aggressive offset, looking at the lip on them.

I still think I like the nismo 18's the best Still have high hopes that someone is good with photoshop and could chop the bronze ones onto the pic I posted above. I'll give you an e-cookie!! :D

Oh, and, thanks again for all of your help and input Rex!! You really are Super Mod! haha

I have the Nismo 18 and 19 staggered wheels in Hyper silver. I like them. I would have to see the bronze ones in person to cordinate that on a redline, but every one has there own taste. Go with what you like. I dont think you can go wrong with the Nismo's.

The 03-05 Rays aren't bad looking ...

And you can swap the centers out, they're not all interchangeable, but you could find some that would fit. I didn't use any, as you can see in the pic.

An aggressive offset doesn't always equate to a "lip", but the staggered 18/19 with the lower offset, are noticeably less "sunken".

I would have already put some 19" G35 Rays on my Q, but don't care for the 19" tire prices.

I'll have to see if I can find a pic of the last set of wheels (BBS) I put on my Q

I <3 BBS wheels too, along with sportmax. I'm debating the possibility of some hyberblack sportmax with the red pinstripe (don't remember the number of which SM wheel they are, but they're a mesh style).

The pricing on the Axis Super Hiro's in the sticky above is insane also. ~$1000 for wheels is a STEAL, and they're staggered 19's.

Q looks good though bro! Do you know if there's a Nissan centercap that would fit into the G35 rays?

I'm almost positive, there's a Nissan cap that fits the Infiniti wheel. I think one of the Q guys had put Infiniti centers in the same Rays I had.

Here's the latest set

IMHO, I'd stay away from SportMax's

CCW = cheaper, lighter, and true 3 piece modular so they are servicable and made to your specific size and offset

CCW's are $2200-2400 a set, amde to your specifications, the thread started talking about a $2600 set of nismo's, and sport max's are heavy

From what I can see on their website, CCW only offers 1 set of 3-piece wheels, the rest are 1 piece forged and are all too...."blingy" for my taste. The "classic" style--the 3 piece wheel--just doesn't fit my tastes very well...they do look hot bronze with a polished lip though...
