I love my Nismo. As good as Borla sounds, I think it would be too loud for everyday driving. Plus the price of the Borla is $$$$$. Now I just need to decide on an intake and that will make it even meaner sounding.

Borla is the best sounding of the ones out there in my opinion. I don't find it too loud at all, and I'm an old fart. I actually expected it to be louder. When you listen to them on YouTube, they sound much louder than when you're driving around because people put their cameras right behind the car which kind of overstates the coolness of the exhaust. So while the Borla sounds pretty harsh at ground level, it sounds smooth and deep from inside the car.

I can't speak for the Nismo, but the Borla is very well made from stainless steel, and has a lifetime warranty.

Borla FTW. I have heard the Borla and it sounds amazing. The youtube recordings do it know justice. It is quiter than that but sound alot smoother. I will be getting the borla after I do a few other mods.

I have the Nismo and it sounds great.

I went with it over the Borla for a few reasons. It was MUCH less, a bit quieter judging on videos ive seen(I dont want to hear a loud as hell exhaust at 7AM driving to work lolz) and NISMO is a Nissan product so if you need warranty work done the stealership cant say anything about it being aftermarket 3rd party mods.

I got my nismo exhaust from a ebay seller. He sold both 2.5 and 3.5 coupe exhausts. $626 shipped but they're out of stock. Lee parts also used to sell them for pretty low price but some how the price got jacked up. Sorry you missed your chance.

I havn't heard either in person...but from the Youtubes I love love the Borla. IMO the Nismo sounds

I really want a Borla...but i'm not sure it'll sound as good on a 2.5 as it does on a 3.5

I don't think they make the borla for the 2.5. I thought it was only out for the 3.5 But I could be wrong. I do know they only offer the 3.5 on the borla website but I don't know if a 3.5 axel back exhaust will fit the 2.5

If I wasn't getting the borla, I would get the Greddy. The Greddy is even more expensive, I am not a fan of the blue tips, but it is a cat back instead of axle back.

I don't like the blue tips or the angle of them either but from the looks of it and also from reading on the forums, I have gathered that it has the best performance. So that's my first pick for exhaust. However, second is Nismo! Japanese companies FTW

I'm sure they were both designed it the states. Greddy we're 100% for sure on and being the Altima Coupe isn't available in Asia...

I know the Altima Coupe isn't available in Asia. But I didn't know that until a couple months ago. Haha. It was a disappointment. No JDM modded cars for us Still though, I feel like domestic companies probably work more with and are more suited for domestic cars?? It's just my preference.

Materials are more expensive in Japan and as well our weak dollar compared to yen. Thus more expensive price in the states.

R&D done in Irvine, California. Parts made in Japan. Which is a reason why the Ti-C took 5 months to be available in the states and as well their new exhaust coming out in Feb.

Well, for those of us that really don't like the look of the current Greddy system, we can all take heart in the fact that (according to Loop) they're due out with some new models soon.

I, too, can't stand the look of them. When I see those angled, oversized canisters with the blue tips...I can't help but think...........egh, someone ripped those off a high-schooler's Honda.... <-- Even the avy has them! haha

Sorry Loop! Just my meager, worthless $0.02!
