I have few questions for you guys...is this the cheapest im gunna find the nismo exhuast for?

...if so do you think it would be a smarter idea to get one custom made, would a muffler shop be able to replicate it?

i seriously doubt any muffler shop will be able to replicate a specific exhaust system that has had extensive R&D. locally, you'd be looking at a bent pipe (opposed to a mandrel bend) with a magnaflow/flowmaster/borla universal muffler at the end. the good part of that is that you can custom pick your exhaust your tips. its a trade off for specific design performance vs custom style/cost.

idk about the Nismo exhaust. a shop could replicate the borla and Artisan exhaust for sure though.... plus it would be much cheaper. it's almost always better to just get a custom exhaust. most local muffler shops also do work on race cars for drag racing or something and know how to get a lot of power out of it. most exhaust thats made for a specific car is a waste of money for a brand name and their marketing costs, etc.

the y-pipe is for the 3.5's not the 2.5's, he needs the header though...

i have the stillen header and the nismo exhaust and let me tell u- the header makes our car feel totally different. TOTALLY different.

Def buy both. my bd gt performance test told me i picked up almost 22hp and 25lb/ft tq just after hooking up the header, w/ no bd tune. then tested it w/ dynolicious for the itouch and it said 21/22 to the same respect. after full tune and such, bd tuner said 232hp 238 lb/ft that sounds redonkulously high, but idc. lol. for a N/A 4 cyl, i'll take it. and idc if its wrong, cus my butt dyno is physically saying its right. and thats all i need lol

however- yes- nismo = best sounding. mandrel bent ftw, not squished. kthxbye :D

Leeparts.com has the Nismo cat-back exhaust for 2008-10 AC (both 3.5 & 2.5) for $773.30. I was going to buy it there but when I told my Nissan dealer about the price difference they agreed to match it (I also had them install it since it's covered by Nismo parts warranty). I love it.
