dont..for the price of that shock/spring setup you can have an good, entry level coilover set up. then again it also depends on what you want to do with your car, if its a dd, etc etc.

i still vote coilovers

I agree. For quite sometime I was pretty stuck on getting these, but nothing that "fantastic" comes from them except for the fact you are keeping the suspension "in the family." I believe it comes with some warranty, too.

I vote coilovers, or if you want to go with a decent drop and a less than teeth rattling ride, go KYB AGX's with the Eibach springs of your choice. Took me all of 30 minutes to do all four sides of the car, and saved me a lot of money compared to the NISMO stuff.

Doesn't that kit already come with springs? Why buy another set?

Because this nismo suspension is not height adjustable, I want these but i want to go lower than 1 inch in the front and half an inch in the back also.

Yea i mainly wanted these for DD and kind of a collectors item to have, pretty rare and hard to find (im a nismo enthusiast). They go for $600. Dont plan on doing any drifting, need a good suspension/coilovers since the previous owner cut the springs and slapped them on my car.

Buying new springs won't let you adjust the height on that setup, you need coilovers.

not looking for a height adjustment, just want a lower drop than the nismo suspension offers. they are set at 1in. for the front, and half a in. in the rear. Thats where lowering springs come in :yesnod

Yeah, you could buy different springs then. But you'd probably save some money just getting the springs you want with some aftermarket shocks instead of getting the 'nismo' branded ones.

Won't that decrease the rarity and not keep it in the family? Can you not buy the struts seperately?

that, and would decrease the damping curve. Not to mention side effects to the damper itself.
