HEY guys long time no see. Well, I just got the Nismo strut bar from Jarcoand its hitting the hood, it's the old type bar, where it has the bend to clear the CA intake manifold. does anybody have this problem?? o! and BTW it's not hitting the support frame on the hood, so I can't trim that either. I'm thinking about raising the rear of teh hood slightly with some washer to see if it will clear. what do u guys think?? C

Odd. I had my old school Nismo/Cusco STB on before I propped my hood and it fit fine. Is it this one?

what engine mounts are you using.

and are you sure they're on the right sides? (heatshield one should be on the exhaust side)

That wouldn't matter bio...it mounts to the strut towers not the motor lol. Yeah, my hood is stock. I do have hood prop now, but like I said, it fit fine before I did that.

My cusco bar does the same but only a little bit but no problems closing the hood or anything using Nismo engine mounts
