Hey guys,

So the mesh grille and audi r8 style headlights are almost complete. Should be finished within two weeks time!

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has tried to take out the the nissan on the steering wheel. Nothing against Nissan or anything I just don't find it that aesthetically pleasing and it just doesn't flow with my nismo-ed out car right now. I tried to pry it but I'm hesitant knowing that an airbag could deploy, sending the lovely swiss army knife I'm using 300 mph at my face. lol. Anyways, the customs shop said that they would definitely make a fiberglass (or whatever they use) emblem to replace or go over the nissan emblem. I'm interested in having one that says nismo but they can basically laser etch or write something custom into it. So if you're sick of that ugly nissan emblem-ed steering wheel respond! The customs shop needs to see if people are interested so please comment!

One more quick question, will the new mesh grille replace the bottom chrome pieces?

The customs shop have not finalized the pricing yet so I am not able to say just yet but soon! The headlights are a custom job so I don't know if they would do them for anyone else unless there was interest. The inner housing of the headlights are going to be painted black, the amber strip is going to be painted black, leds are going to be drilled into the black strip going in a vertical direction following the grain of the hood. There were some photochops on another thread and it's going to look pretty close to those. The new mesh grille will get rid of the ugly chrome mustaches and create a more fluid design. I gave them the photochops that mehdi did and it's going to look pretty close to them. Patience guys!

in no way do i mean to steal Kev's (itsjustbusiness) thunder... as he will be the first with the Ironman LED headlights... but what i can tell you guys is that the people who are going to be setting up a GB and become a fabricator for NICO (the guys who are doing my headlights on saturday) are finalizing their IRONMAN G37 lights this weekend for the HIN show(i may be able to take a few pics of them on sat when im there). They WILL be able to do them for our car (if golden doesnt want to man up and join the forum)

Patience guys!

I can't give you guys a picture update just yet but here are some photoshops.

These are of the r8 style led runnersPhotoshop by: don't remember

This is what we're expecting the grille to look like. The frame will be attached throughout. You can see the break where the chrome mustache's would've been. That part will be filled in. Also the photochop has the bottom part of the frame to be kind of blocky. The bottom part of the frame will hopefully be a nice smooth curve. The whole frame of the grille will be made to match the color of the car. The mesh will be black. Photoshop by Mcheddadi

This was the other idea but it could not be made. The mesh needed some kind of support. It would have been flimsy otherwise. IMO the other one is better anyways.Photoshop by Mcheddadi

I had this idea a long time ago with the vertical lights but instead of it acting as the Day Time Running Lights it would be turn signals.

I was inspired by the r8. I thought it looked beautiful and the r8 uses the leds as running lights as well. Using them as blinkers just didn't make sense to me especially because there's a whole part of the housing dedicated to the turn sigs.

Golden Customs. They're one of the top customs shops on the east coast. They've won car wars with funk master flex, featured in mags, the whole nine yards.

How long does it take to get the lights modified. I would of done this a long time ago, but I am trying to find somebody that does this here. I just do not know how long it would take. Two weeks without my car might be a little tough.
