the suspension on my S14 has had it, and i'm looking for some decent replacements. Coilovers seem too extreme for me, but im not sure yet. Does anyone have any experience with the Nismo S-Tunes?

Just seems like you'd be paying for the Nismo name. I went with Tokico Blues/Eibach Pro's on my s14. It's rides like Heaven, just a tad stiffer than stock and the has a slight lower drop than the S-tunes.

For the price of the S-Tunes, you could buy some very decent entry level coils and set the dampers to soft and call it a day...

if you use the search function, you might be able to find a lot of other threads that have the same topic.

Heres one I found by searching:zerothread/220710

I have read that post many times, but the info it provides is for the s13. also, the ride height is crazy high, but I bet they would look different on an s14, which is the only reason I'm asking. the tokicos/eibach pros seems like a good solution for me, I would really only like a little stiffer than stock, a little lower and some nice handling. anyone think coilovers would be a better option? Also, simm, did you need any suspension arms to correct alignment?

If you are looking for a decent drop that's just a little stiffer than stock, go with the tokico blues/eibach pro's. I think this is the way to go if you want a good look, without it being overly aggresive like coilovers...

I have this combo on my Zenki and love it to death! I didn't want that car to ride rough because it's the car I take my girl around in and she loves it! So smooth! Not bumpy or rough at all, but the drop is really sexy!

If you want an even lower drop, you could go with the Eibach sportline springs, but it will get a bit stiffer/rougher.

the blues/pros combos does seem appetizing, and who knows, may be even better ride quality than what I have now on my old suspension. Just one more question - what kind of alignment and suspension arms (if any) did you have to get to sort everything out?

I'm a big fan of the RSR race springs with Koni shocks. My buddy had them and they felt great! It handled so much better than my old Eibachs and Tokico (blue) set up. Also, my Tokicos blew after awhile too.

My s14 did not require any other suspension changes for the blue/pros combo. And it does feel better than stock.

Thats good info too! My s14 is auto and I don't drive aggresively in it so I'm hoping my setup should be fine.
