nope, but those actually look like some pretty nice seats. Seems like they'd match the interior fairly well, too.

i hear that some of those ebay seats are actually quite comfy. But the problem is that you must make custom sliders to fit into the car, which cost another $200. oh and keep in mind that shipping from alot of those sellers are around $100-150.

your better off buying some other seats NOT from ebay.

its so tempting though to buy a pair tho cuz of cheap price...

Personally, i'd never buy a seat that i hadnt sat in first. With that aside, just remember you get what you pay for. Those seats will probably fall apart within a year give or take. But i guess for that price, if your willing to risk it, then by all means go for it. Atleast you know, if they do fall apart, you didnt drop that much money on them.

If i were you, though, i'd save myself the hassle, and save up for some good quality seats.

I personally wouldn't mess around with "Ebay Brand" seats. I'd stick with something from a reputable company like Sparco. Seats are kind of important and it would suck to end up splattered all over the road when a cheapo knock-off seat breaks in a collision.

And exactly what's Nismo about those? They don't even have a cheezy fake Nismo sticker on them.

I swear, I could take a ****, slap a Nismo sticker on it and sell it on Ebay for $500.

i'd buy it !

i read that someone here bought a pair and was unfortunatly in a major crash. He said that the seats actually did hold him in like a name brand seat would. maybe they are of good quality just without all the branding...

Does anyone take safety into account?

These seats aren't FIA tested, and I would be willing to bet they have very little in terms of actual crash data on them.

Guess no one thinks about it till they are eating their dinner through a tube and can't feel their legs.

Rob has some, he likes 'em and they hold quite well (I've sat in 'em). Only problem is, as previously mentioned, making sliders...

well i never said i would use them in my car. Thats a big HECK NO! I'm just saying, some people want the cheap stuff and as a person in the aftermarket parts business, i've gotten to the point where i'm not gonna argue with someone if they really want something. I'd be stressed out ALL the time. I say let them learn the hard way if they dont want to listen.

but i'm not arguing with you or anything, i totally i agree. I just wanted to clarify myself.

Yeah I understand too... but almost all of the parts at SPL (where I work) are parts that we suggest, which makes for very very few disagreements.

Oh yeah i hear ya.

At panda garage (where i work) we dont sell anything we wouldnt suggest either. But often times we get calls from people asking about cheap stuff. I tell them what i know about those products, but most of the time they dont want to listen. So i just tell them, call this shop or that one if your looking for that.

Oh and sixxdeuce i agree about bucket seats. Which is why i'm goin with a zeta III. Now, that seat is frickin' awesome!!!

I just installed a pair of seats similar to these. I like them they are very conferrable. I ordered the new style adapter less bracket from Sparco ..to attach to the sliders. My only complaint is that the brackets are an inch and a half taller then the stock brackets. So I'm going to have to re-weld the bracket. I'll try to upload a picture later.

DUHH.

The average 240 owner is cheap and/or mildly retarded. safety is unimportant. I always see people saying retarded stuff like 'can i use my styrofoam bicycle helmet on the track? I don't want to spend money on a real helmet that I could spend on stickers!' Or... 'I have an M85 helmet, can I use that even though the rules explicitly require an SA2000 helmet?'

certain things require money be spent for added assurance. some people will never learn though.

I LOOOOVVVVVE my Sparco bucket. Pro 2000. I drive my friends cars who have reclinable Brides and I feel like I'm going to fly out the window.

Branded or not, reclinable racing seats are silly. Go for a straight-up shell.

I wish I could get just one of those fake a$$ Nismo seats though, I'd use it to build the thing I'm going to mount my Gran Turismo 4 steering wheel to:-D

a guy I knew bought "mugen" seats off ebay for his honda, and they looked just like that and the bottom of the seat was crowned, they were made for like a 48" waist so there was no lateral support, and the wings still poked me in the shoulders. and to make it worse the wings were steel with hardly any padding and the butt I swear couldn't have had more than like 1/4" felt on it.

I'm trying to get some fixed back seats but having a hard time deciding. I have a 38" waist and I really like the cobra monaco. I was going to get some Tenzo R DTM's but the sale ended ( 125 each, pretty good deal. they would have been tight anyway).

Have you looked at Sparco seats? You can find deals on them from time to time. I've always been a big fan of their products as quality, safety, and comfort are top notch.

I ended up buying a Recaro reclining seat off ebay, used off a fellow racer. Its super comfortable and I used angle iron to make some custom brackets to mount it to my stock sliders. The seat itself sits at exactly the same height as the passenger seat, although it has extra bolstering below the thights, so while your *** is about the same as it is with the stock seat, you sit in more of an Italian driving position.

My neighbor had some cheap racing seats off Ebay in her Cavalier...

One night she was hit and her car spun, then she was rear-ended pretty d*** hard by a car coming in the opposite direction. Back of the seat snapped, the Ebay harnesses she bought didn't hold up, and she smashed her head on the back window. Spent the last week of her life in a coma.

I think I would pass up the opportunity.
