i would be interested in those, let me know where to find them for 650. i know nismo has s-tune (street driving w/ wrnty) and r-tune (track driving w/ no wrnty) levels, so i would imagine the ones youre talking about are s-tune.

Those are the S Tunes, which I will be buying here in about a week or so.

5.2 kg/mm front and 4.5 kg/mm rear, ride height adjustable w/ no p/b mounts. I will be picking up either some Cusco or HKS p/b mounts as well. The R Tunes are comparable to JIC FLT-A2 and cost about the same.

EDIT: The rear spring rate is 3.8 kg/mm for S13. The 4.5 kg/mm is for S14. Sorry bout that.

Could you confirm the S-Tunes is coilover with Height Adjustable Feature? Because I am always under the impression that S tune is simply shock plus spring combo !Well, just curious. Please let me know when you receive them.

Thank you

I emailed http://www.performancenissanparts.com when they sold the S Tunes (quit carrying them like a few weeks ago) and I was told that thye are coilovers, have height adjustable perches, do not have p/b mounts and are not dampening adjustable. But after looking at some pics, I'm not sure anymore.

Ok, just got a reply from Trade Motion. No, they are not height adjustable. Still higher spring rates than 99% of the aftermarket springs out there and you know that the dampers will be matched to the rates perfectly. I look at it this way: AGXs and ProKits or Whitlines will run you the same price, be softer and not matched dampers.

since they arent rideheight adjustable, do you guys know how much these coilovers lower the car? i really want to get em if the drop is right, because im sure the ride is great.

Front drop is 25mm and rear is 15mm, or about 1" front and 5/8" rear. Conservative to say the least, but not like a silly ricer drop that screws your camber all to heck.

Is the Tein basic Damper a good beginner setup. It costs around 8 bills and its right adjustable...

Yeah, but one of the issues with the stock S13 suspension is that it is set more for understeer. By maintaining the stock spring rate ratios like the Tein Basics do, (6kg/mm front and rear) you do nothing to combat this. While the rates are less on the Nismos, you get a setup that allows for more of a oversteer feel. If ride height adjustability (and therefore corner weight alignment and the like) are important, Basics are a nice beginner setup, IMHO.

Should be better than any shock and spring combo out there. Matched springs rates and dampening rates, both of which designed for our cars. They should prove to be quite good.

The R-Tunes were only made for S14 and S15. If you want Nismo coilovers for the S13, you have to get the S-Tunes.

If all goes well, I am installing them and all of my suspension goodies before Saturday, where I will be taking a LONG drive. Then on the 29th, I have a drift meet. We shall see how these perform.
