Just curious, does anyone have any info on the Nismo R Tune Coilovers for the S13? The Nissan site is oddly devoid of good details.

I know these coilovers aren't height or damping adjustable, but do they come with metal upper mounts, or are they used with the OE rubber mounts?

I assume there's no camber adjustability on the front. Also, anyone know the spring rate?

It seems odd that so few people have these. At first glance, they don't seem competitive with low-end Tein products, but maybe I'm missing something.

No love for the R Tunes? It's amazing how little info is on the Nissan site. Surely someone has to have some info on these, right? :)

R Tunes do not exist for the S13, they are S14 and GTR only. I have the S Tunes however. The R Tunes are fully adjustible coilovers, where as the S Tunes are tuned (read matched) springs and shocks with new OEM upper mounts.

The confusing thing is that the Nissan website says that only R Tunes exist for the S13, but they don't say anything at all about them except for the price. I see R Tunes for an S13 but not S Tunes. Confusing stuff.

Try this link...if it works you'll have to pick 240SX and the S13 and then 2.4L engine and the Suspension...

Edit: Damn...I just saw they have Bilstein shocks for the Frontier. Bastards! I want Bilsteins too!

Edit: Click on the boobies and then go to the Components drop down thingy.

After you click through all of that I see:"Performance Street Suspension"

That would be S Tune. I love to see that the Nismo site is still all jacked up. Sorry to get your hopes up, but unless Nismo has suddenly done a 180 and changed what they told me when I bought my S Tunes in Feb. there is no R Tunes for the S13:(

EDIT: I just checked the part number for my S Tunes. It is 5300S-RSS30-US. Same as the one on the site. They have the S Tunes mislabeled my man.

Not a problem. At least that chick was hot.

It's good to get that whole thing straightened out. Damn, the Nismo site sure is crap.
