Nismo is bolt on. AEM will require you to weld AN fittings onto the end of the fuel rail.

i believe you can also buy the nismo adapter for the fuel rail and then run a rubber fuel hose to a fpr.

Exactly. CHECK OUR SPONSORS (They keep us here). I KNOW I've seen them. Bolts right on, and will allow you to run just about any aftermarket universal FPR.

courtesy has it cheap... a search would help a lot since I believe the bolt on nismo one for the SR doesn't quite bolt on to the ca. once you buy that adaptor piece (HKS has one, nismo has one, tomei has one, etc) you can run any universal FPR including the nismo universal one.

Hey, I might jump in here and offer my 2 cents.

Currently the best value for an FPR on the market is the SARD FPR. MSRP's for $135 with 8mm nipple fittings or with -6AN fittings ($145 MSRP). gauge is sold separately, but there are three ports on the regulator and by running a 1/8" Tap through one port, you can run a standard liquid filled pressure gauge. Worth checking out.

The AEM FPR is garbage, and the Nismo one is okay, but similar construction to the stock Nissan one, and we've seen a few of stock regulators fail on occasion and put fuel through the vaccum lines.

I'm not a sponsored vendor on here, so I'm not going to do a sales pitch for buying a SARD from me, just wanted to present the info but if you're interested in more info, shoot me an email.

i got a tomei fuel rail adapter from spl parts(a sponsor here) for 36 dollars thats jus bolts on. no welding required. it was a an-6 size fitting, it works beautifully with my aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.

why is the AEM one garbage? cause you don't sell it?

no offense but I've not seen a single AEM product that I would call garbage, their products are usually among the best in research and manufacturing quality

I know it might sound stupid but I did a couple of research on the "sponsor" web site and didn't find the nismo fitting for the ca18det fuel rail. Does somebody has a direct link ?? Thank a lot

The NISMO is ideal for the CA because it is a bolt-on affair. The SR20 NISMO piece works too, but you'll have to cut off the end nipple, add a piece of fuel line so you can adapt it back to the FPR, and then turn that extended end to whatever desired angle you like. But the stock fpr can support around 500hp, so there's really no need to change it unless you're poosy-footing around with small injectors (Ie 370-460cc).

You won't find one for a CA18DET. It's the SR20 one.

whats up derek, its Jon over at Forcedfab, talked to derek lately? he used to have the s2000, we are about finished on assembly of his neon motor and im working on his turbo manifold now, should be a beast! ill be out your way in a few months to deliver it ill have to stop in and check out the shop!

we been using Aeromotive FPRs on most of our projects and for around $100 they affordable for most of our customers and have yet to fail us.

I'm using the SR one, but didn't cut anything, just made a longer fuel hose that loops around to get the angle back.. as you can see in the pic w/ yellow valvecover it sends it the wrong way, I just made a loop with enough hose so it won't kink.
