it looks as its made of brass, I hear that people having cracking issues with oil tee's made of brass and aluminum. anyone ever encountered this?

most brass tees are rated for like +16K psi or something and heat resitsant to pretty high temps

its not the pressure its the vibrations in that area and brass being a very soft metal, just what i've heard but if no one's having issues then ok

Mines been on for about 5K miles now w/o any problems. I'd say it's fine. It't not like NISMO is infamous for selling crap...

I've seen 2 break and heard of a couple of others. It seems to be the weight of sender units causes the problem. the solution seems to be fitting a flexible hose to the sender and attaching it with no weight on the T

i got a 90* fittng and bspt*npt adapter from mcmaster carr for 18 dollars, galvanized steel sending units arent exactly heavy so i think the cracking is induced by soft metal and vibrations. nismo sells good stuff but there oil tee is $9 and its a brass bspt-npt adapter and a T, i doubt they put alot of engineering effort towards it
