If I really had a Nismo I wouldn't want one of those stickers on it.

It does seem slightly misplaced given that the Rogue isn't really any more off-road capable than anything else this side of a Forester.

Must we always have this discussion? I agree its not necessarily worthy of an "off-road" decal, and Its not an "off-road" vehicle but no better than a CRV or Escape off-road? Give credit where credit is due... For a 4-cyl, grocery-getting, chick-mobile, the 1st gen Rogue is pretty damned good off-road/climbing over obstacles. Better than some others in the class... I'm saying that based on the TFLCar videos of all the crossovers off-road, and my own experience climbing things... Most recently a 1.5 foot high mound of ice in my dad's driveway that I thought was just snow. :gotme

I love the Rogue...I'm just saying I don't think it's something it's not. An extra 20mm (or whatever it is) of clearance and computer software locking diff below 40kmph, doesn't make it a NISMO bolder crawler. That's all I'm saying.

I should've taken more pics from different angles to show just how high the a** end was and how close to the ground the front end was... This was getting into my dad's driveway over a mound of ice, and this was after 15 minutes of flattening it. It doesn't look like much in this pic but trust me, ground clearance and a locking diff makes a lot of difference. A 2013 Escape would have had a bad experience here.

No the Rogue is not a "Nismo boulder crawler" but it's not just as good as anything this side of a Forester either... It is better than some others that are on this side of a Forester too... That's all I'm saying.

i had the same issue this morning. i had to jump up into the seat while sitting the front on the driveway, and the rear on the mound. the rogue got over the icy hill like a champ
