what does it actually include?

is it universal fit between sr, ka, ca? I am guessing no on that one

anyways, I am going to do the sr20det swap soon and I was wondering what's included in the kit? how many mounts? where are they? does it include transmission mounts?

thanks

just the motor mount itself. No heatshields, no nuts, nothin else. Just the rubber section with one stud pokin out one side and two more on the other side. They'll work with KA and SR for sure but move the engine up a little...either that or since most of us have old mounts now maybe it brings em back up to where they were supposed to be.

dunno bout kits, i bought my two mounts seperately. i just got the L and R motor mounts and called it a day and didn't bother with the transmission mount. I'm guessing kit refers to L and R motor and transmission mounts.

I am looking at this one....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW

it's a 3 piece kit, left, right and transmission

is that enough or is there more?

when doing the swap, what else is needed? additional nuts? bolts? brackets?

nah that's enough. When doing the swap, take the heat shields and nuts from your old motor mounts unless they're totally stripped or whatever else. I'm already anticipating that the nuts that hold the motor mount to the car are going to be a pain in the butt to get off and already anticipating them to get at least rounded a bit so yeah I bought new nuts. They're expensive though, dealer list is a couple bucks a nut. For all the nuts and bolts for the transmission, and motor mounts, I spent 30 or so dealership and that was with a discount. Those transmission bolts are expensive some list at 16 a pop but yeah...that's just me.

oh forgot to add, if you're on a serious budget and got a few days, you can take some old motor mounts and slap some urethane in the grooved sections of the motor mount. It'll take a few days to dry but yeah it'll be pretty damn stiff and much cheaper than nismo's.
