Does anyone have experience with NISMO mounts on the CA? I've searched and read that they lift the KA up a bit and that the SR is fine, but nothing about the CA.

LOL, walked away for a day :D and came back but no go. I'm gonna see if i can get my friend to jack up the transmission and bolt it up and see if that helps any (tomorrow). I thought i could get it in there by myself but i guess not. Thanks

Well still didnt line up, so I was thinking.... what if i just unbolted the mount off the car and bolt them to the engine bracket and then bolt the mounts to the chassis afterwards...? Does this make sense or even sound doable? Oh well cant think of anything else so let me know what you guys think.

Don't do it that way. It's even harder. You'll just have to screw with it till it goes in. You may even want to completely pull the motor back out and do it over. I did that one time when I was putting a motor back in an S13 and that did the trick.

I got them on mine too, love them... they did fight a little when setting the engine down, but nothing out the ordinary...

Put the mounts on the motor first, then drop it in. It takes me 10 minutes to drop the motor in and tighten all the mounts.

Pull the motor but didnt get to try anything due to rain so tomorrow I'll do what float said and just "screw with it" until it goes in, and if that doesnt work I'm bolting the damn mounts on there and calling it a day(hopefully) :D, well anyway thanks float thanks Nismo.
