Nismo Motor Mounts

For those of you with Nismo motor mounts.I did a search, one post said that they make the engine sit higher. Is that true?I know there will be increased vibration/noise, no problem.Research before purchasing....Thanks

I just installed my Nismo motor & transmission mounts. They weren't kidding on the vibration part. My heat sheilds was making so much noise. The valve cover is clearing the Ebay STB. Although it is slightly touching the wireings. The ride seems more harsh but it more responsive. Considering my transmission mounts were falling apart and one engine mount broke in half this was money well spent.

ive got a set of nismo mounts that im selling. feel free to email me if you want to make an offer. they have never been used, and have been sitting in my closet waiting to be used.

does anyone know if new stock motor mounts are still available anywhere?

The only reason the engine will sit higher is because your mounts are probably 10-15 years old. The rubber ages, and the engine sags. Installing new mounts just puts the engine back to where it originally sat.

I should be installing nismo mounts (engine and transmission) this weekend, SPL subframe collars too - hopefully

Do you guys know if the nismo motor mounts that are for ka24de work for ka24e also? And for the transmission mount as well and for manual or auto - does it matter?
