Three words: Completely Worth It

I have to give a major shout out to Lime Creek Motorsports for overnighting them to me and being totally cool about the deal. Alan is a great guy to do business with and if you want NISMO stuff, get it from him.

The mounts keep the motor rock steady, which is really handy if you have a greddy or ARC pan because they sit really close to the whiteline sways and if the motor would torque over almost any, the pan would hit the swaybar. The mounts are far superior to stock and just plain kick balls...

Yup. And for some odd reason, it seems to raise the engine up just a little bit. You don't have to take off the o2 extension heat shields with them.

I've put them on both of my SR swaps and I definitely like them. Definitely worth the money.

My review: Great product and great dealing with limecreek but i had one unexpected side effect. After talking to some CA guys the engines sits extremely close to the stock hood on the stock mounts. Which explains why my hood will no longer close with my CA. Even with this set back, i still highly recommend the mounts, especially if you don't have a CA :)

yes, the CA does have that little problem :( but it's a great excuse to get a new vented hood :)

TomsMR2...fill the stock mounts with urethane eh? Thats a unique way of doing it, how well do they hold up? I have a CA so I dont think the nismo mounts are for me :(

Were these mounts originally designed for an SR engine?

Has anyone run in to any problems at all with their KA sitting 1/2" higher? Everything in this thread certainly sounds positive so far.

Maybe they are for you. Maybe when i get my custom hood done you'll be all like "daaaaaaaaaammmmnnnn" and then you'll pay me good money to make you a fancy hood too. Or more likely my hood will be crooked and i'll never ever paint it.

hey 240_keyy What did you have to do to get to the mounts? I have a set of good conditioned used stock mounts that I wanted to install. From what i understand you hold the motor up with a hoist and drop the cross member? Thanks a lot!
