nismo motor mount questions

i have a 97 240 with a sr20, im wondering if i can fit these mounts without my turbo (pt6262) hitting the brake master like it did with the stock mount. im currently running poly mounts but there a little rough for a dd. any info will help thanks

I think it more has too do with manifold design. You have any pics? I am going to be running that same exact turbo but haven test fit anything yet.

I installed the nismo mounts for my ka24de, The were identical in size and shape to the stock ones. my guess is any problem you had with the stock mount you will have with the nismo one as well. Its even possible it will get worse because the nismo one will be stiffer and the stock one may have been squatting due to age, making the motor 1/4in or so lower.

no pics but i can take one tomorrow. these poly mounts fit perfect there just way to stiff makes it almost credulous do daily

and maybe it was the fact that the stocks one might have had to much play but i know when you drive down the road you can hear the turbo smacking the brake cyl. im thinking of just ordering the mounts and if they dont fit then ill do something with the turbo. wheres the best place to get the motor and transmission mounts

I got the nismos for my s13/sr20 swap and the engine sits high. I had a thread on different mounts and their sizes. But yes, Nismos are one of the thickest ones out there...If you need your engine to sit high. My oil pan sits so high that it will never see damage from driving around.
