From MotorAuthority:
Nissan has announced pricing for the 2014 Juke NISMO RS, a sporty version of its eccentrically-styled small crossover.
The 2014 Juke NISMO RS will start at $26,930, when equipped with front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. Adding Xtronic all-wheel drive and a CVT brings the price up to $28,930. Both prices include destination.

That makes the NISMO RS the most expensive Juke model, topping the all-wheel-drive Juke SL's $26,800 base price. Still, that NISMO badge isn't just for show.

Nissan's first NISMO RS model features a few upgrades that go beyond the body kit and mild engine tune of the Juke NISMO. Among them is an upgraded version of the stock 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which produces 215 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque in models equipped with the six-speed manual and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive models get 211 hp and 184 lb-ft.

The manual transmission is also specific to the NISMO RS; its first three gears have lower ratios for quicker acceleration. Manual models also come with a helical limited-slip differential. Meanwhile, all-wheel drive models get sportier torque-vectoring tuning. The NISMO RS also features re-tuned suspension and electronic power steering, as well as bigger brakes housed within 18-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Juke NISMO RS gets Recaro sport seats trimmed in red leather with black suede center inserts. There's also an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel and special RS dials.
Interesting to find that the 6MT found in the Juke RS is unique to that particular model. What do you think? Nice price or ridiculous?

I got to see one of these in person at ZAttack a couple weeks ago. The ride height is dramatically lower than a stock Juke. It's very interesting to walk up to, and the Recaros are SICK!
