NISMO Altima Coupe Cold Air IntakeNISMO Altima Coupe LipNISMO Altima Coupe SideskirtsNISMO Altima Coupe Spring Kit (Probably around 1.5")

Of course, no pricing or release dates at this time-- all say Under Development in the Nissam Parts Dept Computer.

(Note that they call the Lip and Sideskirts something different in the computer)

Just wanted to give ya'll and FYI-- personally I'm waiting on the cold air!

A REAL cold air would be sweet, but it gets thrown around alot and given to what are actually warm air intakes.

I would be really interested in that.

also, maxentropy that pancake rabbit cracks me up, I could watch it for hours.

Yeah but no one told me about NISMO developing a cold air intake or the simple fact that the front body piece is a lip only and not a full fascia. Someone may find this information as useful as I found it.

just think if the insurance co's knew about mine or blake's cars. it would be through the roof. also, nismo COLD AIR intake? i highly doubt it will be true cold air with the placement of the battery, but if a airway was re-routed to the throttle body i guess it's possible. I just don't think they'll do it.

I know, which is why I was so surprised when I heard it too. The parts guy at the Nissan Dealer I was at here said cold air intake and I told him the same thing you said with regards to clearance and the battery. He just replied, NISMO only does cold air intakes and it's listed in the computer as cold air.

Who really knows... guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Lol, wouldn't you know I tried this in my eclipse. However, It was a big fail. Because the power the compressor leaches off the engine, is more than the power the engine will produce with the cold air supplied. Sorry

I figured this was the case, other wise we would see more of these setups.

You guys are crazy.. i dont know why you would even attempt that...

i thought there was more for people to do in cali (i went to hs in NJ where theres lots to do, like picking your nose)

I can imagine a pint sized adidas with a few of his High School friends with braces on, talking out their idea to force air in with the air conditioner and have it turn into some type of turbo setup.

Adidas has the whole setup drawn out on paper and even has a small scale model made out of silly putty legos and some straws....

"Ahhh the good ol days"

Seriously though, whats the consensus on what their "CAI" is actually going to be and or look like?

If they do do a CAI then I think either the battery will need to be moved.

Haha, remember, I grew up in VA bro, where there was even less to do than picking your nose

There was acutally 2 different ways we did this. First was the direct cold air right into the throttle body. The car was acutally slower than stock with this method.

The second method is actually tride and true. Ford has patented the design as the SuperCooler, and Its been used on the SVT Lightnings' for years now. Its a small intercooler tank, that is cooler by the AC system. This air that passes through the intercooler, is cooled up to 30 degrees cooler than under the traditional "air cooled" design. Resulting in a much more efficent running s/c system, but it can only be used in 35 second bursts and it takes 2 min for the tank to re-cool itself. Its a neat concept though

a post I had when I received my NISMO exhaust, I got a listing of all the parts in development. just shows you how long "under development" has been.

anyway..im anxious to see what the spoiler looks like, and to a lesser extent what the side skirts and front lip will look like...maybe ill get stillen's if i dont like these..

Would be interested to see how these turn out. So so far, the only ones producing these are NISMO and Stillen?

Fox Marketing has also made a front bumper, sideskirts, and rear endcaps.

I feel them to look quite different in many aspects, but respect your opinion.

I'm kinda getting tired of all the 'little kid' behavior and 'my friends are cooler than yours' type BS you and a few others continuously drive here.

Sure I agree with you in that I do not like the styling or relatively cheapness of the fiberglass body parts but you could have stated that instead of continuously beating on these guys...

This place used to be fairly unbiased and a great place for information. But now more than ever, I see posts such as this one. It's especially shameful upon the entire NICOclub because it was authored by a moderator-- and that really portrays an image of an organization. I understand I am here by choice but honestly I really hope I don't continue to see silly posts like this. If I wanted to join a forum for little kids poking fun at each other, I'd go somewhere else. NICOclub is about friendlyness and a sense of family, let's try not to shun others like what happened here, lets simply speak the truth/fact.
