Nismo Intake V K&N typhoon intake

nismo is a 5.5 hp increase at the wheels

K&N is 10.1 hp increase, (doesnt say if that is at the wheels or not)

most likely the K&n is the same as the Nismo.10.1 is close to the nismo's 10.2 this is what i have found the jim wolf set up looks like it may work the best and the price isn't that bad compared to the others.

yeah i know by itself it wont make a noticable dif, i am looking to not have to go back and replace things as i build though, so just trying to get as many points of veiw about everything

well if your ultimate goal is an N/A, I would pick the one that put the filter closest to the front bumper where it can get as much ram air from the cut out you need to install, there is a k&n filter I found that would work great for that. its an rx-___ anyway it has a filtered top.

If you goal is not N/A and you want an intake for now get a $35 ebay one and save some money.

From what I haer and have ben told the nismo CAI is the only one that gives you a rea increase of any kind.

if he is going FI there is no reason to spend the extra money and like NSRsheet said Nismo is the only one that gives any real gain so he could get an egay which would make the intake louder with a K&N and be happy for now. An intake is only a piece of pipe, it is hard to make intakes that are much different with execptions of the filter type. It's just a suggestion.
