so i got me a nismo fuel pressure regulator. i was out looking at the stocker and its in a weird position near the firewall. anyone have any tricks to getting to it? i figure i can throw a screwdriver bit into a socket and do it that way, or s stubby screwdriver. but i wanted to see if there is any trick 1st, other than removing the fuel rail of course.

I'd use a stuby or a bit on a socket. Not much other choice.

Save yourself the drama and pull the fuek rail. it really isn't that much of a problem.

yeah, but doesnt that involve pulling part of the manifold too? it looked really hard when i was considering it last week. before my car magically started running incredibly well with no tuning at all, and 510cc injectors. its not even leaned out!!

wow, that had almost nothing to do with this thread...

i'll take a shot at trying to just do it on the car. worst comes to worst, the rail will come off.

No, the mani doesn't have to come off to pull the fuel rail. I've done it a couple of times due to leaky injectors and now that Dee mentioned it, it probabally is the easiest way to do it. No busted knuckles either. I think I got mine down to where I could pull it in about a half hour.
