Hey there, I went to my local Nissan few days ago with the intention to buy and install a nismo exhaust, but does this pricing make sense?
2010s-RSD25 NISMO SPO = 1335.70
Freight = 300.00
Tax = 110.20
Total = 1745.90
After I saw that price, I told sales person that it was out of my price range and he responded that he can take like 200 or 300 off that price in order to work a deal with me. Does anyone know if the exhaust is really that expensive?

Not worth it. That's a rip... I paid like $875 for mine on that Lee Parts web site. Is that price that was quoted for install as well?

Btw, the Nismo has nice tips and a great sound but it's actually pretty restrictive on the air flow in that it has a 2.25 cat and crimps down to 1.25 inches in certain spots. So all in all, you'd be better going to a muffler shop and getting a custom one made and buying a muffler... Or simply going with a different exhaust.

Yes, that price does include installation. I really like the sound of the Nismo exhaust over other brand’s and that is why I want one, but what do you mean about the airflow? Will the exhaust hurt my car performance because of the lower airflow?

even with installation, that's a ripoff. also, it won't hurt your performance but it will limit the gains you see from installing the catback.

All right thanks for your info, maybe I will just wait on the exhaust and consider some wheels and tires.

I can’t reply to your pm. Thanks for letting me know about it but for I am saving for wheels, tires and springs before the exhaust.
