I am trying to get my hands on the Nismo Catback Exhaust for my V6 Altima Coupe for quite sometime now. Nissan is not making these exhausts anymore. I called Courtesy Parts, Fontana Nissan, and a few other places on the West and East Coast and non of them have one. I am asking if anyone has information where I can get the 2010S-RSD20 for my car it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I dont mean to be rude, but I'm not an idiot. Thanks. Also I know Lee has only for the 2.5 coupe. As I stated, I'm looking for the 3.5.

@ White midori. I was not referencing you at all. I was speaking to Jman0711. If you see the time stamps, you posted two minutes before I did therefore I did not see your post as of yet. Thank you for your link though. I tried to call them just now but their offices aren't open yet. I appreciate your help, no hard feelings?

No luck again. They do not have any in stock. My hope of getting one is dwindling now :/

if all those are out... ebay may be your last resort.

This is so strange - If you go build a 2012 Altima Coupe on Nissan's website, when you get to accessories (where you add car covers, spoiler, wheel locks, etc), it offers the addition of a Nismo catback exhaust. You would think they're still in production by the way Nissan presents it.

It has been so frustrating trying to figure out what Nissan is doing with the Nismo line of products. On-again-off-again Nismo websites, random bursts of inventory and then shortages (or droughts).

On the other hand, if you can't land a Nismo exhaust, I recommend the Greddy Spectrum Elite =D But keep trucking. I'll keep an eye out and see what I can find.

I see exactly what your talking about. I want to say that even if you click that option and build it, the dealer is going to come around and say that they no longer make that part. Every distributor I spoke with says Nissan stop producing those exhausts for the 3.5 coupe. There's only the 3.5 Sedan and 2.5 Coupe.

I'm wondering if there is any way the sedan exhaust will fit on the coupe with out extensive modification. Seems like I have to dig up the service manuals though. Ill try to look into that option.

@ Blackmamba, I really dont trust Ebay. I've had bad experiences with it, but If one pops up I might just bite the bullet.

I bought an ebay exhaust, along with a couple other folks here, for $175 back 2 years ago in my case. No, it's not the dual fart pipe version you might find more commonly, but a single muffler/dual outlet just like the stock and Nismo muffler setup, except it doesn't have any of those piping crimps Nissan put in for "clearance" which I have actually not had an issue with in this exhaust.

It does not sound as loud or throaty as the Nismo (which is its own sweetness, I'll admit) but can sound very nice, especially after you install the RL Y-pipe. As nice as the Nismo exhaust is, it's a bit louder than I could handle, and I reckon many folks would tend to agree. A little resonator and it should sound just load enough and reduce that rasp.

Good luck on your search though. ;) It would have been my pick if it didn't cost $800 back when.
