Nismo exhaust group buy (yes, me again)

if you feel like you have seen this thread multiple times before, congratulations, you are not crazy

I sent the moderator who killed my previous threads an email asking if there is a chance a Nismo group buy will be done anytime soon, and I didn't get a reply, so I was hoping that someone might respond this way.

However, it seems more likely that the Eibach springs group buy will be done first in March, so I think I'll just bite the bullet and order it myself from LeeParts. And if it turns out that there will be a group buy anytime soon I guess that's what I get for being so impatient

I emailed Lee parts and they said that they would lower the price by about 20-30$ if i remeber correctly.I guess if we can EASILY get a group buy going it'd be worth it.. But those numbers arent the GREATEST savings.

But then again, he does have the cheapest price to begin with, 100$ less then the most expensive dealers.Im still down!

Well I actually got replies from several vendors with group discounts, that's not the problem. The problem is that the admins told me that they don't authorize group buys for vendors that don't advertise/sponsor the NicoClub site, since basically they get free advertising out of a deal like this. The group buys with Stillen seem to be a different deal, but then again Stillen is awesome so maybe in the end I'll switch over to the Stillen exhaust just so that I can buy from them

Ok I wasn't sure if they are, I remember Tyler saying something that the Stillen group buys were a different story, but anyway. Bummer that Stillen isn't an authorized Nismo retailer, but then again why would they want to sell performance parts they produce themselves from a different vendor. No complains here

I think the Lee's price is about $830, correct me if I'm wrong. My dealer said he would sell me the full Nismo cat-back for *$784*, I feel like I'm getting a good deal. But if we can get it cheaper as a group I'm definitely in!

Also, I think everyone has a better shot at saving money by shopping around at different dealers and on the net versus organizing a group buy on such an expensive item.
