Been looking around, and finally pulled the trigger on the NISMO catback exhaust for my 2010 3.5. Leeparts is selling them for $773 + shipping which comes to about $950. I managed to find a Nissan dealer in CT selling them for only $702.60 :ohno: This is slightly cheaper than from Lee and I believe they also allow you to pickup from the dealer to save from shipping.

Total for me came to $790 shipped, which is much cheaper from anywhere else I can find with shipping included.

It's Bruce Bennett Nissan in Danbury, CT. Just thought I share this with fellow members on the fence about the exhaust.

I believe our coupes have the 2 pre-cats embedded in the stock exhaust manifolds (headers), 1 in each side of the engine.

Hence, the only one you can really replace with a straight pipe would be the one main cat after the y-pipe. If you buy the Racingline y-pipe, you are pretty much getting rid of that cat anyway, so unless you get aftermarket headers for the Alti coupe (which are few and EXPENSIVE due to engine compartment space design) you will always have the 2 precats, unless I am wrong about the exhaust manifold and pre-cat design.

Just had the exhaust put it, and have to admit it looks awesome and really brings together the rear of the car. The only concern I have is the drone, as it's really loud when cruising/accelerating at around 2,000-3,000RPM. On the other hand, I did also put in an AEM intake earlier this week, so I'm not sure whether or not there's a "break-in" period before the sound settles down a bit.

Other than that, when I open her up past 3,000RPM the VQ just screams

You will have drone on the highway regardless (at least my experience), but when just cruising in town when not on the throttle you shouldn't hear much at all. I also have the aem and the y-pipe, but I had the drone before the y-pipe, just not as bad.

VQ>3000rpm +1000!!!

Wait, which dealer? The one by me was asking $900ish, if I recall.

Wow. That's a bit out of the way, but it might be worth it... thanks!
