Post

I live in Nashville, TN where Nissan's headquaters are located and I just met several Nissan empolyees that brought out 3 brand new Z's to our clubs monthly meeting. We got to see the new Nismo Z, badge 0000 and the Solor Orange Z and a coupe and convertible San Marino Blue Pearl Z. The blue pearl Z's had prototype dual air intakes that will be badged NISMO but are actually built by AEM. The employees ran the cars down the street so we all could hear how the intakes sounded. They sound mean! No dyno results posted yet but they said we would be impressed. Also told they should be released in a couple of months. I was also told that Nissan will not be offering the Nismo bodykit as aftermarket. You can only get the kit if you buy the Nismo Z. But They did say that they will be selling replacement body pieces for the Nismo Z. So that may be a way around getting the kit for your Z and not paying the $8,000 or more for the Nismo version.I will post pics of the intakes along with the Nismo Z if anyone is interested[IMG][/IMG]http://www.winkflash.com/photo/photozoo ... 137961[IMG][/IMG]http://www.winkflash.com/photo/photozoo ... 137961[IMG][/IMG]http://www.winkflash.com/photo/photozoo ... 137961[IMG][/IMG]http://www.winkflash.com/photo/photozoo ... ic=4137961

I was on AEM's website the other day, and they do have an air intake for the '07. The only problem is they are not selling them yet. I cannot find a supplier for the kit(Part #: 22-677C). Here is the link: http://www.aempower.com/ViewPr...=1314
