I just got a nismo cold air intake and was wonderin if when i put it in should i keep like it came with all the pieces it came with or should i convert it to a short ram intake? What has the most power if theres any differerence and which sounds better over the other i want it to sound as agressive as possible. Also if anyone can think of anything else i should know on the toppic that would be great.

Leave as is. CAI give very little gain and you wont even know its on there except for the appearance and the increase in sound.

Definately leave it as a CAI. Short rams give you less power and usually suck in warmer engine air.

SRI if you want to sound aggressive. There's less risk of hydrolock. True you're pulling in some warmer air, but the engine bay has adequate air flow that I doubt you'll notice anything.

If I'm correct the Nismo CAI comes with breather piece to prevent water from getting in.

You are correct, sir. It's called a bypass valve.

I'm also thinking about getting Nismo cold air intakes. Are you satisfied with it?

I just got it a week or so ago but havent put it on yet becuase there are some things i want to fix on my car before i do so it could be a few weeks before its actually on but from what ive heard and read and since it looks like you have an 07 and i have an 06 (although my opinion would still be the same on brand it would just be different because of the setup) But from what i hear for an aggressive sound along with preformance and quality two brands are the way to go, Fijita and Nismo and since nismo just came out with a system for the 07 not to long ago its really up to your preffrence but i think there pretty much the same, not absolutly sure tho.
