I just got a set of nismo coilovers from a user here on the boards. They look great but I had a question about the front dampening. This may sound dumb, but i don't know how to adjust them. They are currently off the car so i was playing around with the knobs and could not figure out for the life of me how to adjust the front 2. Is there supposed to be some sort of special tool that wraps around the knob, as it is embedded in the nut thing?

Help hopefully someone on here knows what i'm talking about

they are def, Rtunes so they are adjustable. Um I'll try and get a pic up soon.

To be honest, they look like glorified agx's with really stiff spring rates. I'll let you know how it goes.

btw, for anybody with rare coilovers that are looking to rebuild, I called ksport and they said they can try and rebuild coilovers from other company's as long as the customer is willing to take the risk of them not being able to put them back together. They said that this is ideal for those who simply want to see if they can rebuild their rare coilovers without the hassle of trying to find a distributer in Japan BEFORE they purchase a coilover with better support.

if they are glorified AGX's (which is what the rears looked like to me at least)see if you can use a small flathead screwdriver to adjust the fronts. you just push down and turn clockwise or counterclockwise and then release, should be slightly notched to correspond with the numbers, if there are any.

This is the only pic i could find of my agx... you can kind of see the colorcoded number adjustment label... inside that is where the notch is for a small flathead screwdriver.
