ok i have been looking around at NISMO clutches, clutch covers, presure plates and flywheels, the KA24E and CA18DET booth use a 225mm clutch, the difference seems to be the cover. so if you got a NISMO KA24E/CA18DET 225mm clutch you need the corisponding CA18DET Nismo Cover. here is what i ahve found on http://www.nismoparts.com http://www.nismo.co.jp (trnaslated via babefish) and http://www.japanparts.com
Above - OE NISMO ClutchNISMOparts.com has the NISMO clutch for the CA18/KA24 part number is: - M-30100-RN225 (NISMO lists this as the NON-GROUND i guess this means it's kinda OE maybe a little better)
the NISMO catalouge has the CA18DET high performance clutch part numbers as:
- ceramic-metal A: 30100-RS550*
- ceramic-metal B: 30100-RS500*
* You must use the 750kg NISMO cover with this clutch,
the clutch cover listed on the NISMOparts.com website is the wrong cover for the CA18DET (M-30210-RS600) it is the one that needs modification to work.
Above - The NISMO CA18DET Clutch Coverthe 750kg NISMO Clutch Cover part number for the CA18DET us:- 30210-RS550
now NISMO also lists a "Kappa" Clutch that i guess is some kind of carbon composit clutch, who knows it clamping force capabilities? Part Number is:- 30100-RS225
all these sites have good prices, nismoparts.com i think is a US company and could source anyparts not in stock, i'll be emailing them later with the clutch & cover part numbers i want later to see what they have instock and what they can get,
i am looking a the NISMO 750kg Cover & Cerametallic B Disk w/ TO bearing
Question is there is no Part Number for a NISMO Lightened Flywheel in the NISMO catalouge, will the NISMO KA24E lightweight flywheel work?? it should?
