I'm in the market for a new clutch. I don't want to spend much, nor do I need a big improvement over stock because I’m only running bolt-ons on my KA. I was thinking about using an OEM pressure plate with the Nismo disc. Has anyone tried this? Or should I just go with the RPS Stage 1 (which cost the same)?

I do not want a SPEC Stage 1 because I have a friend that got a really poor quality unit from them and they refused to replace it under warranty.

The ACT Street/Strip is what I have, and it is an excellent compromise of grip and featherability. Drop the hammer and it f'in grips.

I've heard nothing but good this about the ACT clutch. But, like I mentioned before, I don't want to spend the money ($100 than the setup in question).

I think I may pass up the Nismo disc and buy a Luk Performance Gold clutch. $212 from http://www.dialaclutch.com. Not too expensive, but still an upgraded unit from an OE supplier.
