Hey guys

I've been looking into exhausts for the A/C 3.5 and i think im going to go with Nismo. I found a place to buy from with a little searching online. This place offers the cat back at a low price and is located in Maine for faster shipping to our New England members. Check them out.....

I'm looking to purchase within the next day or so, hopefully having it installed by early next week at the latest.

I'll post detailed vids on youtube later next week

The guys at Leeparts are good people. Let us know how you make out. Haven't seen the Nismo on the coupe yet.

Haha i know, im a bit nervous to shell out the cash. However there are a few vids of the 3.5 sedan and i love its sound, i can only expect the coupe to be pretty much the same.

how come the 2.5 sedan with the nismo cat sounds better than the 3.5 cat?

2.5 cat w/injen:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwVDCnBAzpY

3.5 cat:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78mgEOFoY8c

does the injen make that much of a difference? or is the camera's mic?

to be honest, those guys didn't rev the cars enough to hear it well. did u see my intake posts? Sometimes when I drive at night, I don't think I need exhaust to sound good, my Injen sounds good enough already but during the day it's not as noticible

How much did you guys pay? My dealer quoted me $784 for the nimso cat-back and about $60 for the install. Am I getting a good deal?

I think im going to continue to shop around. I wonder if theres any room to drive the price down since he started at $784.

I just had my car in to the dealer and got a quote on getting a Nismo Catback installed for a 3.5 coupe. I was initially quoted list for the parts and I laughed at them. He came down immediately and said they would sell me the Exhaust for $800 and another $165 for the install. I might just take the parts and install it myself.

if you get the nismo exhaust from the dealer and they install the warranty wont be affected right? i want to start getting parts but dont want any of the warranty to void.

Yeah Nismo parts are safe.

EZEEE i have a favor to ask..

Can you post up a video of your car NOW with the nismo with one standing rev, then another one with a FLY BY BUTTT when you pass the camera keep the gas applied. Your last video you layed off on the gas and thus all i heard was the air whooshing over.

+ Does it really sound louder then the stock exhaust? Maybe its the camera but it sounds pretty much the same.

Yeah, I think im getting a good price, he also said $60 or less for the install! Another dealer quoted me $800 for the exhaust and $90 for the install. My father is good friends with the owner of the first dealer, and I have yet to get him to give the owner a call. So if he quoted me that over the phone, I'm hoping to save myself some more money. The best part is no shipping charges! It all comes down to how much money you let them make off ya!
