Just want to know how much the nismo aluminum knob weighs and if its heavier than stock. I like how it looks and i like the feel of heavier knobs. I'm not looking for knob suggestions thanks and I would prefer hearing from people who have and can weigh there nismo knob and give a comparison of the the stock vs. nismo feel.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I'm Pretty Sure There's A After Market Shift Knob Thread Going Around...

Edit: Sure There's More Then One At That.

np, if it helps one of the heaviest aluminum knobs out there is the razo 270R, which i did end up using, and its not even that heavy.

if i had kept my car i probably would have tried the AMS hammer knob, i heard its the heaviest out there.

I just threw on the NISMO aluminum carbon fiber shift knob on my car and it is WAY lilghter than the stock one. My only question, is it suppose to keep on turning when it bottoms out when you screw it on?

I wouldn't think so, try taking it off and putting it back on making sure its straight.........becareful of rounding out the threads, thats what happened to my stock knob wen i took it off to replace the boot.

looks good in there btw and your centre console is nice and clean

thanks for the tip on razo d!ck, I've found what I've been looking for. Didn't find the 270R knob but the RA120 is looking like my final choice (375 grams). http://www.carmate-usa.com/htm...c.htm

thanks again!

heavier than mine by a bit. glad you found what you needed! get one of those socks to put on it when youre not driving it so you dont burn your hand. my palm said "RAZO" for a week once, no joke.

I bought the Circuit Sports weighted shift knob, it is adjustable to about four inches up and down and has some serious weight over the stock one. Best shift knob I have ever owned.

lol damn that sucks, yeh i have had experience with metal shift knobs my friend in jamaica has a Toyota Altezza with a metal shift knob that just scorched me one day. i'll get my mom to make me a sock for it.

as far as everyones suggestions, thanks, but ive found my alternative. i appreciate everyones insight. i'll post pics of the razo and give you my feedback once i get it.

nah, I think I just might not have the right shift knob. I might have the one for one of the newer Nissan cars like the 350z or G35.

Well after 1.5 weeks of waiting (thanksgiving messed me up) my razo shift knob came in and it is BUTTER . Feels great and its nice and hefty, shifts feel smoother but not too smooth to where you get no feedback. It also looks great. Heres a pic:

Thanks for all the input and feedback guys!
