hello.

first ill introduce myself. i live in australia and am about to do a vh45tt transplant into my z32. my mate and i are researching what is needed to be done and what custom parts we are going to have to design and make for all this to work.

this may sound like a newbie question but my mate and i are embarking on a vh45tt conversion for both our 300zxs. i had a search for information on injectors but only came up with this...

vH41DE injectors

so my question is, does anyone know if nismo 555 injectors are compatible with the vh45 engine? and do you think they will be able to handle around 400rwkw or am i going to have to upgrade to the next size?

thanks, erik

555cc injectors supply enough fuel for just over 700RWHP... So, yes... you should be able to reach your goal since 400KW=536HP

the nismo injectors are of the proper type, ie: side feed, right impedance etc, so if you tune for hte increase in flow, they'll be beautiful

Aren't the Nismo injectors bolt ins for the SR20s and other engines? I think that the adapter kit from Deatschwerks might be necessary to get them in. It's what they included with mine when I switched to newer injectors with the "oval" connector instead of the rectangular one. It made them fit perfectly.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it includes some spacers that fit over the lower section of the injector, as well as small spacers that go in between the rail and the cap.

You shouldn't need to get a new fuel rail. The adapter kit from Deatschwerks just allows you to put 95+ injectors (which I think are the style you're wanting) in a 91-94 fuel rail. I initially asked them if I could just swap in a 95+ fuel rail and avoid the adapter kit but they said it wasn't a bolt on deal.

They're a really good company to deal with. I originally sent my stock injectors in for service, but 2 of them were bad and I ended up just getting all "new" 95+ phase 2 injectors which are supposed to be less prone to randomly dying.

I'd bet you could have them ship parts to you, but I'm not sure what shipping prices are like from the US to Australia. Check out their website here: http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/index.php

thanks mate

ahahah shipping from the states to aus is never good, very expensive indeed. my mate and i are going to try and get our vh as new as possible, so hopefully newer than 95 vh engine anyway. in japan they used them until 2002 in the Nissan President limousine. we will see how we go with that
