If somebody here actually has it, could you put up some sort of a review? Pros, Cons and the like.

Mainly I would just like to know if it's quick enough to check up on sites like Nico, and blogs and whatnot.

Before I head out and buy one I would just like to hear some experiences from someone who has it.

I've got it.Problem is I haven't been able to use it much.I use WPA encryption on my wireless network so I have to use a Nintendo WiFi USB adapter to get online with my DS and sadly for me it hardly ever works right.

The browser itself is actually pretty decent. It's well set up, and isn't painfully slow.

The biggest downside is the total lack of plugin support. You'll never be able to install any plugins and it has nothing beyond basic HTML support (no flash, no video, no sound, etc.).

The layout options are good, though, and it does a decent job of scaling pages to fit in the tall mode. The second mode lets you scroll around a scaled-down view of the page on the bottom and see a zoomed version on the top screen.

It also comes with the Memory Expansion Pak which more than doubles the DS's system memory. It's basically the same as the old N64 Expansion Pak, but as yet nothing but the DS Browser uses it. Hopefully in the future we'll see games taking advantage of it.

So then text heavy sites like news sites and forums work well? The video, sound and flash thing is not much of a problem for me as I would only be using this to check up on e-mail and news and whatnot.

Basically, from what you have got out of it so far, would you recommend for these types of activities?

Yeah, it's pretty decent for text-heavy sites. Nowhere near as fast as a PC but for how little memory the DS has I was pleasantly surprised.

I'd say it's worth picking up for browsing NICO and news sites. That's what I got it for.
