i just realized that he hasn't posted in a long time. He used to frequent NICO. I just saw that he hasn't posted in over 4 months!! I also just realized that "themadscientist" hasn't posted in over a month as well.

Of course there's no K-Car. And for the last 6 months, there's basically been no Daunttless. NICO is losing it's knowledge!! madscientist was a very knowledgeable guy.

I'd disagree with your statement that "NICO is losing its knowledge". I think we have more resources now than we've ever had, and our technical know-how is stronger than any board on the Net.

I agree with AZ.. i've only been here since April.. and what changes i've seen so far have surpassed any other forum on the net... My ex was part of the DSM forum and they were plain and all it seemed like they did was chat and not offer any help really... I'm pleased that i joined NICO being that when i got my 240... i needed help... Came here and bam there it was... and if this sounds like i'm A55 kissing... I probably am... lol jk..

We are not post whoring.. It was a good thread.. But it died so we decided to convert it to a get together and talk bout our boring work life this morning.. Its a non-knowledge thread but i'm learning bout other peoples boring work life too

NICO is constantly gaining knowledgeable people whether it me ones that already know so much (Q45Tech, Aries, PalmerWMD, etc etc etc) or ones that through this forum are becoming knowledgeable.

Also, where might that boring work life thread be as I'd be happy to share my boring a55 experiences

The knowledge is still around, true, just more people seem to be disappearing for a time, I believe most people show up again eventually, even if they joined other boards. Example, I spent time on VWVortex, DSMtuners.com, and somewhere else I can't remember starting in March, and now I'm back, not that I'm all that knowledgeable, its just an example of how this is the best car group out there, and everyone returns eventually.

I will make my full fledged return on Tuesday. After Tuesday, everyone will be taken care of until my next chunk of engines. We've been extremely busy doing installs and things are finally clearing up to a normal schedule with bookings through the end of August. However, I will be back to wander about aimlessly and babble incoherently. I'm sure you guys can't wait. =P

hey AZ, i didn't mean that NICO was going down the hole. i was just saying that NICO is losing some of its best knowledge. But yes, NICO is growing and is gaining knowledge.
