As you all know, I moved to Arizona because I purchased a new home and got a new job at a Nissan Dealership. I am a huge Nissan Fanatic which is why I would not work anywhere else.

For about a month and a half I worked there, my usual shift was 8-6 (which ended up going 8-10) or 10-C (which is 10-10). I'd go home and crash, wake up the next morning and do it all over again. At the dealership I was always with customers and could not answer my cell phone hardly at all. This is why no one could get a hold of me. Therefore, I quit my job so I would have more time to sell JDM cars and engines.

Now, there was a long thread started here on NICO about me that was all bash with no response. I have not read it, nor will I read it because I don't feel like flaming. There were two main individuals, Joel and Chris, of whom bought RB25DET clips, but delayed their final payment (first down, then final), which put them last in order to receive their clips (first come, first serve). I quoted them a date of arrival as I quote everyone 6-8 weeks. These numbers come from my people in Japan who source the clips, the shipping company to the US, US customs holding time, an shipping from port to me. When any of those 4 legs of the journey has a delay, the time is delayed as well. I cannot control any of the 4 legs, especially not customs.

With Joel and Chris' clips, I told them about when delivery would be to me. The clips were in port, so I figured one more week as usual. Our customs broker took a vacation...I am not sure where she went...somewhere tropical like the bahamas, therefore our container was not ok'd to leave. She returned two weeks later and we called down to find out what was going on. Because the container had been there so long, they did a thorough inspection (took everything out, put everything back in) to make sure there was nothing illegal in the container. This delayed it a few more days. About 5 days later, the clips arrived to us where they were unloaded and shipped out.

I no longer live in Washington where the clips come in, instead, my partner unloads them in the warehouse and ships them out. He told me that the clips had been shipped out, which means that they should be close to being delivered right now. Unforutunately, I have not been able to get a hold of my partner for 3 days and I have needs to discuss business with him as one of my customers has not received their clip and it was shipped out 20 days ago. I have two options that I am now considering: 1) flying up to washington whenever clips come in to ensure delivery myself, or 2) getting a new supplier and moving my business to Arizona.

For the two individuals who were waiting, I am sorry. As I said before, I cannot control customs or the shipping process, and now I can't even control my partner. It pisses me off when I tell someone one time and it ends up being another time. I am angered by this because it makes me out to be the bad guy, when in fact, I had no control over what happened with the time frame and I get all the heat when customs or another leg of the trip is the one that is to blame.

Now, as far as other people wanting RB25DET Clips - they are becoming fairly hard to source (the good ones anyways). I had a problem filling 7 good clips last time I ordered. I still have 5 that need to be shipped to customers, so please be patient with me as I have to be patient with my customs broker and the shipping companies. It is all worth the wait in the end. I don't know how many more RB25 clips I will be able to get in the future, so I am also searching for motorsets of which I will recommend be installed with McKinney's Motormounts.

Well I hope everything works out. That doesn't sound like a story anyone could've made up.. so it looks like he's being honest and definetely not out to rip anyone off.

When and where was this originally posted? I've heard about him quiting his job, but I still haven't been able to get ahold of him the last few days. I'm the guy named Chris he mentioned in there. I do believe what he was saying for the most part. BUT he is still running his business pretty poorly. I've have asked him several times now to send me a receit or invoice for my payment. He told me h printed one up while I was on the phone with him and would mail it out the next day, but he never did.

At this point if I don't get my clip this week I'm going to have to scrap the project. I'm going to be moving in a few months and am just about out of time to do this swap. So I'm either going to try and get my money back, which doesn't sound like Cameron is willing to do considering the way he runs his operation. My other option would be to have someone else buy the clip, price is $3000, it was a discounted price off the usual $3250.

Well, after talking to some other importers (looking for RB25 for the fellow brethren..LOL) I take back some of the negative I said about Night. This particular importer told me you know when it is bad when Venus imports 90-95% of the RB's and they only got a couple this month. I still think his business practices are so-so and I still want to know what is the process is of taking 1000 of someone money to get a US VIN and emmissions compliance on a non US vehicle works, but maybe he did have a hard time getting clips. who knows. I want a downpipe from him, but I am scared to order...LOL And I take back my statement of him overpricing clips. I failed to relaize I got my RB20 on monthly (been quite a few months now) special. Being on the internet makes getting screwed too easy. Maybe everything above DID happen and it was just a case of bad luck. Of course people will blow it out of proportion because of the many scams. I DO think he should keep his Nissan job because buying clips with customer money is a no no. Too many people just get into the import business. Take a businees class. Maybe get a loan to get your business started. Now you have customers in a predicament of wanting their money back, but they cant get it back because you have no one to buy the clip now. So you say find someone to buy it. Which makes it worse because you/he has a bad name now. Who would want to buy a clip from someone having problems getting/shipping clips. LOL Hopefully everything works out for the best.

LOL!This isn't what he told me when I sent him 3K. It was agreed that I would pay the rest once it arrived in the US. And when he told me it came in (March) I sent him the rest. Once he got the rest he told me his shipment on came with 2 of 6 RB25's that he was supose to get. Since then it's been the same story that it is sent and I will see it anyday. But that is not possable if the shipping company has no record of anything coming to my address.

I've called the shipping Co. a couple of times too and they have no record of anything coming to me, or anything coming from RJC Trading to my area.

It's one thing that the clips got delayed from being in customs so long. But Cameron told me they have them at their shop now (well like almost 3 weeks ago). So at this point there isn't any valid reason why I shouldn't have my clip now.

And if Cameron has actually quit his job why is he still not answering his phone?

Actually I should rephrase my statement. the other importer said 90-95 of other importers/businesses get their clips from Venus as they are the largest importer. i say cut out ALL the middle men and by from them direct. Chachi..there is NO way for you to get your money back??? Judge Judy that **** man...seriously. Not only will you get your money back, you will make some.

I didn't say there was no way to get my money back. But considering Cameron isn't even answering his phone or returning calls it's a little hard to get the situation resolved.

Did they lose them coming them or coming to us? Cause that sounds pretty unlikely that they would lose both of our while coming to us, they wouldn't be shipping together and would have to be lost seperatly.

Did he say what's going to be done about it? Are we going to have to wait for more to ship from japan? If they were lost by the shipping Co. we should be able to get are money back at this point because Cameron should get paid insurance money for them.
