yeah man... I can listen to older stuff like Eagles, CCR, Beatles and whatnot.... but it really depends on my mood.... With my alpine deck, boston acoustic speakers, and my 12" Infinity facing the driver with the seat down.... it pushes some nice bass for other types of bassier music . I think it depends on whatever sounds good in the car and what type of driving you are doing..... and where you are driving... and what girls are watching.... and what you have under ... wait a sec... i'm tripping out...

listen to some nice old grunge... Nirvana should do it.... 10 years since Cobain's dead.... Then listen to Imagine by John Lennon.... then Wild World by Cat Stevens... then Down with the Sickness by Disturbed, then Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, then Thunderstruck by AC/DC then Forgot About Dre by Dr Dre featuring Eminem then Kim by Eminem then Asleep in the Chapel by Thursday then I Shut Down by Eman then go to sleep

Hmmm. Lately I have been listening to DJ Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise 1, 2, and 3 and Infected Mushroom - Live at DNA Lounge 9-14-2002 and Juno Reactor - Sexual Healing for a single track. When in a more mellow mood I listen to emo like The Early November and The Postal Service.

Woot.

I listen to alot of trance/techno/various other classifcations of electronic music when I'm driving. When I'm sleeping too... Are those tiesto mixes any good, cause I went out and bought nyana and to this day I still love it.

And I've been listening to TPS nonstop for the past few days.

I have a mix of techno (Prodigy, Orgy, Sneaker Pimps) with some rock (Led Zepplin) and a bunch of hard rock (Korn, Manson, Tool, Perfect Circle, Nirvana) a little green day, some cake and Less than jake. Oh yea and I don't give a **** what you all say, I don't like rap in general, but I do like Luda. I do listen to his stuff periodically.

For a while I was listening to Oakenfold and Tiesto, but some of it just got too "2F2F" for me. And in my piece, I'm neither fast nor, for the most part, furious. I'm not hating, believe me, just saying... and I don't think OK Computer has EVER left my CD player longer than a couple days. I'm always coming back to it. That whole CD is incredible! I can't think of one track I listen to more than the others.

I've heard good things about the Postal Service, but I haven't looked futher into it than DLing a couple songs off of KaZaA. ("Such Great Heights" and "Sleeping In").

Rap and country get the sorriest labelling. I mean, how many times have you guys heard someone say they listen to "anything except rap and country"? Personally, I think some of it's pretty clean, esp. older stuff. Genuwine, old Usher, of course Bone Thugs... and who doesn't like Charlie Daniels? Devil Went Down to Georgia? :rockon Ha ha ha!

What about the Velvet Underground? Anyone still listen to that? I used to play that stuff ALL THE TIME after I saw Trainspotting. He he he... oh and Underworld. :D

maybe rap sucks for me bc i care what the lyrics actually say. artists like dilated peoples, the visionaries etc.... those were the best when they were underground. but now it just seems that "artists" like snoop dogg & tupac are making rap into a pop sensation.

Yeah, Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise are GREAT mixes. #2 is my fav. And #4 is supposed to be out soon. Oakenfold is a joke. He peaked back in 99, mabye 2000. I also love Armin Van Buuren. AvB is just so damn bad a$$. I love his Essential Max from Radio1 and I also love his sets from Sensation White from Amsterdam Area both 2003 (with John Galen) and his 2004 set.

Yes rap sucks, but it's still fun to play it loud enough to make old people roll their windows up!

Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys are great for that!

YEAH!! YEAHH!!! OK!!! WHAT??? WHAT?? OK!! - Dave Chappelle
