I wanted to start a tally to see who all is going to find their way to Tail of the Dragon for the first Nicofest there. I for one and a few others are going.

We are leaving from Wilmington (Southeatern), NC. I would definitely be interested in starting a caravan. We are either traveling down 74 through Charlotte, or through SC havent decided yet, so who is heading out to the middle of nowhere that is along the way?

I had posted earlier I was on the fence about it, but now I know I can't go. Bachelor parties and weddings > NICOfest. Sorry people.

Would love to go, but already have plans for Labor Day weekend. Sucks too, cuz my grandparents live like 15-20mins from the dragon, I wouldnt have to spend a thing! Well maybe next time around.

I was originally planning on going, but my wife has to work that weekend and our baby sitter bailed on us last week, so no TOTD this year. Hopefully I can make it next year though if i'm still in this area.

For those of you that have the time/ability to go, I def recommend going. The Dragon is absolutely worth the trip. 318 curves of fun! Just watch out for bikes and cops!

I do alot of hiking, to stretch my legs after a long drive should feel good. The area this is in looks awesome! I wanted to do the tail trip last year but it didnt work out. A buddy of mine is driving from memphis and we will do a 14mile section of App Trail near fontana dam Sunday into Monday.
