Thought a thread like this would be helpful (and FUN) for NICOclub members and visitors.

If you see a smokin' deal that you can't pass up, or think it would be beneficial to any members, post it up.

Let's try and keep excessive advertising or generic sale posts out of here - no "10% off at FootLocker" or "buy five essential oils, get one free" crap. :)

Please provide a link to the sale/deal/promotion that is worth mentioning.

Here's mine to get us started: www.sears.com/craftsman-professional-4- ... 950163000P

Not cars, but if I wasn't paying 2 mortgages plus renovations right now, I'd be buying one of these mountain bikes:

Man I need to find a good analog multi-meter. Digital ones don't seem to have the sampling or refresh rate that I need to see accurate voltage drop in a system when a load is applied :(

Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wants a Yeti-like rotomolded cooler might benefit from this. Great for camping, the lake, or just in the back of the work truck. These things keep ice for days. This is the cheapest I've seen from a reputable brand.

Papa Smurf, I agree with you as to the response time [and ultimately accuracy] of analog meters ! I bought my multimeter at Akihabara in 1965 and it still is working and accurate. I had it compared to a fully calibrated and certified unit while I was working Minuteman site activation and it came in as less than 1 percent error. All that and instant response !

Sams Club is having a sale coming up on Aug 4th. There's a bunch of stuff, but it also includes "up to $140 off set of 4 tires" that might be worth looking at.

Not a crazy deal here, but Amazon has a pretty killer price on vehicle dollies (even beats harbor freight!). I ordered a set of 4 and got a couple of them in the other day. Really solid and made moving stuff around my shop a breeze.

Future purchases? So, like, another month or 2 til Sears goes under? :rotfl

Got this from another forum. Sounds like best to go look in person.
My 4 year old battery in my 01, 2.5 died yesterday after sitting for a few weeks. Went to a local nationwide AutoZone to get a new battery. They had one for $139. & another for $159.
Then the salesman asked if I’d like the $25. dollar special.
Sure, right, don’t think so. Then she explained that AutoZone nationwide will no longer carry the ACDelco brand, & they are all being discounted down to $25.00 to get rid of the inventory. ACDelco is long known so I grabbed one. Check your local stores.
I called a local autozone and they said they do not and have not carried AC/Delco batteries, Where was this store of yours. I could use a new house battery. My does not hold much of a charge since a bilge pump failed on, and sucked it down to dead
Local store can not search AC delco even though they have 6 in stock. Found out today.
I picked up three ac Delco batteries. Was told didn't carry them. Then told no discount. Then they found the batteries on an end cap scanned them and voila $25. Thanks
