NICO Winter Tech Day Meet 2003... Northern Indiana

Well, Im doing some renovations on my Q45 and if anyone is interested in helping out, just let me know.....

What im doing: Plenum, knock sensors, valve covers, hoses and some other odds and ends

Where it is: Lake Wawasee (northwest of Ft wayne), in a heated shop.....

When: Sometime after christmas, probably around 26th or 27th.. Most likely it will be multiple days since I have quite a job on my hands....

Preferably, id like people that have done this sort of thing before.... It would be nice if im not the most knowledgeable person there!

That is exactly what I need, is simply an extra set of hands...... Just so someone could be working on the left bank valve covers, and someone else on the right bank.... And one person working, and the other cleaning stuff out on the parts cleaner..... Stuff like that.....

what are you doing to the valve covers? Just gaskets? It doesnt sound like anythign you're doing requires a tech anyways.

Well yes all im doing is the gaskets and cleaning them out really good..... And no I dont need a tech or anything..... Just an extra set of hands....

Ok.... Well heres the scoop... im gonna be there from the 25th to most likely the 1st.... So whatever day is best in that timeframe is fine with me.....

Keep in mind this is open shop, so if someone wants to have something done to their car you have unlimited access to anything in the shop.... We even have oil and filter disposal right there!

I'm up for the 27 and the 28. I might need to mess around with my speed sensor, it keeps giving me a check engine light. Any good hotels in the area. Nick

Well I'll have to check on that, I'll get back to you....

However, the shop may have some stuff in it so 2 cars may not fit at once..... There may just be enough room for one.....
