Mine would fall asleep in my hands when small. Now there is no way.

Our current one as a kit

today is my little girls 2nd birthday...i adopted her from the shelter when she was 7 months old....she is a black lab/pit mix and the sweetest thing in the world.

today is pretty sad for me because my ex had to keep her when we broke up because I had nowhere to keep her so I havent seen her in a long time and I miss her a lot.

her name is onyx.

Agreed!!

This was our old boxer Higgins. He died a few years back but was the best dog ever!!

This is our new boxer, (they called her a dry mouth boxer, I guess that's why she looks a bit different in the face) These are older pics, but she looks the same still haha. Her name is Star btw.

How hard is it to take care of a ferret? My friend in Florida had one but never let it in the house. He just kept it outside in a cage. Is it like a cat, im guessing they use a litter box?

Easy, They're litter trained and sleep 20 hours a day. Its like having a retarded cat in many aspects. They are fun o watch and play with. They dont bite or make squeaky funny noises, unless you step on them (its bound to happen).

Mine barks (or dooks as it's known) and it learned to hiss like the cats. He only does it when he stalks the cats and are harassing them tho. They can also scream at times as the first one we had didn't like staying in his cage the first night and raised holy hell. Wife and I woke up and was like WTF IS that? I've also heard them squeak/squeal in their sleep.

They have a slight musky odor unless you don't take care of them. Give them a bath every other week and change their litter box a couple times a week and the rest of the cage weekly and you won't notice it. We line the bottom of the cage with newspaper that is simply removed and replaced and his "bed linens" are old ripped up sheets and such so they simply go into the washing machine weekly.

Word, mine get a bath every week. Mine dont even have a cage, they just have free reign of the house.

I would love to get a Ferret having a retarted cat rodent would be awesome, but i gotta wait for the retarted dog to get a little older, she would prob squish the little guy the first day.

Ive already bred her once, and believe me I am not doing it again. Your dog looks nice though. Sometimes I wish I didnt live in Miami-Dade county where Pits are illegal.

Isn't that the equivalent to racism but for dogs?
