ORGASMIC

Did they make a custom fit hood for this yet? Or does it still fly by without one?

ugh....i'm not feeling it... I know the hood has to have a bulge, but i think they could've designed something a lil bit better. I'll eventually like it soon enough knowing myself...just gotta give myself some time lol.

Great find mcheddadi!

That hood sure is different, not sure if i like it. Might have looked better if the bump continued kind of like on the old Talons and Eclipses. Definitely one of a kind and kudos to them for making it unique.

nothing short of insane. quite possibly the nicest nissan i've seen. wonder what the cost is for these upgrades would be? prolly near 25k at least. the hood is different but i could live with it for that much hpw. sign me up, i'll drop her off in houston in the morning.

No, not anywhere near $25K for a turbo setup I would think somewhere around the $6-$7K range if you factor in the cost of the hood. I don't think that hood will ever grow on me.

Great choice for ride of the month.

1. Too bad you can't close the bonnet on that thing...turbo is in the way.2. Not into those wheels.

Awesome from the front?Im not sure if its a car... or the monopoly man with his eyeglass lol...

Id tell them to keep the hp if the hood needed to look like that... Id actually probably want to rock it with no hood at all instead of that thing

I highly doubt that this car will ever see rain much less snow.

I'm sure the production kit won't need a custom hood.

any news on a CVT version? some people say CVT can't handle a turbo but didn't they say they were working on a CVT one?

after looking at it a couple times now, i'd have to say the hood is sick! nothing that i've ever seen before and this car just looks like a beast. wheels to body kit to engine compartment look great. the seats could be better, but i'm not knocking anything on this car.a ten in my book

OK Gentlemen....

The kit shown on the ROTM SEMA car is a "show" kit and will not be the production kit. The Artisan production kit will not need a new hood and development is being done as I write this. The production kit should be ready the 2nd week of February. The kit is currently being developed on a 6mt vehicle and they will probably try to see what is needed for CVT-equipped cars at a later timeframe.

The Fox body kit (which was not ready for SEMA) for the Altima Coupe is currently available on bodykits.com. You can order the whole kit or get "parts and pieces". The full kit consists of a new front bumper, side skirts and rear side caps.
