Why is there no PMing allowed?

I think to conserve bandwidth and to keep most of the chat on the boards. With PM enabled, there may be a greater tendency to discuss issues that may be beneficial to other members.

I suppose that makes some sense, although it is a pain to have to e-mail someone you AIM to discuss off the boards. Oh well, something I just gotta live with :P

If it makes you feel any better, it has been NICO's policy for a long time.

That's cool. "I'll just start my own Nissan/Infiniti BB, with blackjack and hookers. Nah, screw the BB..... and the blackjack." Can anyone place that quote?

PM's have never been enabled on here. I honestly don't see the point. If you're going to talk, talk on the boards so everyone can hear. If it's something private/pesonal, email works just fine. Why should I have to log on here to check a message when I can just as easily check my email?

Anyway, that, and it would effect bandwidth as well. Why waste NICO's bandwidth to send a message to somebody? You know, we (NICO) have to pay for that stuff :)

Most of everyone on here has some type of messanger or email where if we have any questions or problems about anything you can contact them off the boards that way. Instead of addressing a certain member on the boards and making a useless thread to discuss something you may not want to be said here.

(I think I said that in a non-confusing way) :thinker

To me, pm's are waste of time and space. Besides everyone here is always willing to help with any questions.
