NICO Photography Challenge 1

So Ace, Razi, and I all thought it would be a cool idea to do a photography challenge. We had a month to take the photos, from July 17, to August 17. No subject or theme rules, just who has the best shot according to all of NICO.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in next month's challenge. The subject is Transportation.It has to be shot from now until September 17. We'll figure out how we're doing entries when the time comes. Grab your camera and get shooting!

You know what would be kinda cool is if we would actually impose some sort of challenge or theme.

not voting because the three pictures are completely different subjects. i'd need a comparison of landscape pics/scenery pics/car in a setting pic/engine pic/etc. if i were to vote on those entries, i'd have to go with ace. why? because otto is a racist ginger and razi is fuzzy, squinty eyed, wears glasses, and is probably better at math than myself.

I agree that its hard to vote for a photo due to the different subjects. It's probably best to come up with a subject matter or theme for the next contest... plus if its something unique it will cause the photographers to go out and shoot more photos or try something new.

And I think what's cool about this one, is that there were no rules. I was torn between the picture I posted up and this one that I took of my friend with my Maxxum:

Images are nowhere near related, but still have a great deal of beauty in their own respect. It's purely based on which image you like the best. Can be based on subject, picture quality, composition, anything. When we end this in a few days (I'm thinking tomorrow or saturday), we can decide on a theme (or lack thereof).

im in for next month, not really feeling the first one, out of focus takes away from it too much, and the portions covered up look out of place; the second looks like it was just shot on the way home, odd reflections and poorly framed; and the third is just a ocean shot thats been adjusted, ok but boring. sorry guys, just cnstrctve crit.

That's why I didn't want to be in this challenge, I was using 200 iso film and the day was overcast and I was forced to go to a larger aperture than I wanted.
But, there it is!

I like where your head is at, but does it have to be a Nissan/Infiniti? I usually take anything I can get when its a woman near my car. This includes sneak attack photos of milfs in the grocery store parking lot.
