NICO/NOPI Meet!!!

just got home from the NICO meet, what a friggin blast that was. I wish you guys could have made it out. I was completely marinated in Corona the whole weekend and wreaked of tire smoke and girls perfume...

It's actually Gregs fault for putting me in charge of crowd control. You can't feed a guy 2 cases of beer and give him any kind of responsibility. Especially with ricers at every turn.

That was classic... WDracing (Corona in hand) was in charge of "crowd control", and keeping our area clear of non-Nissans (with a Corona in hand).... Some guy in an SRT-4 came rolling in and parked right in front of the NICO booth (while Brian had a Corona in hand).

Brian (Corona in hand) strolls over and explains that he must be lost, and that the area is reserved for Nissans only. The guy is a bit resistant, but Brian (Corona in hand) persists.

So the guy finally relents, and begins to roll out, but not before revving like a ricer and popping his BOV all over the place, right in front of Brian and his Corona. Big mistake.

Brian (Corona in hand) is offended. Mr. Mopar comes to the SRT guy's defense, words are exchanged, and Brian (Corona in hand) is all up in the guy's grille, even as he's walking away.

We thought for sure there was gonna be some "throwdown", so I did what any responsible event coordinator would have done in the event of an impending fight:

I mobilized our photographers.

Ultimately, the guy walked out, with Brian (Corona in hand) close on his heels, emphatically explaining to him that SRT-4's are the automotive equivalent of wearing a bad toupee and having intercourse with one's maternal parent.

Cool guy that Brian is, he later patched things up with Team Mopar, and never once had to set down his Corona.

corona is the ultimate compromise.i hate cheap beers but i dont like to spend a lot of money on good beers (or on anythign else for that matter)corona falls inbetween and makes me happy.

Every Nissan that shows should be parked with NICO. Unless you choose otherwise anyway. The details are still in work.
